Brady Bunch

Brady Bunch- Theme Song
Here's the story..., of a fictional family indelibly
etched in the minds of a TV generation. The Brady Bunch came into American
homes each Friday night for 5 years. Greg, Marsha, Peter, Jan, Bobby, and
Cindy grew up before our eyes between 1969 and 1974. Two contemporary and
very successful movies featuring hilarious send ups of classic storylines
speak highly of the pop culture status of this comedy series. For many, the
Brady Bunch provided a much-needed safe harbor during a turbulent time in
American history. This fantasy family seemingly lived in a vacuum, a bubble,
unaffected by the real world. The show dealt with problems like sibling
rivalry, family unity, dating, and did it satisfying half-hour chunks.
Though only moderately successful at the time, the show has been in reruns
since the early 70s. |

Lyric:
The Brady Bunch
("The Brady Bunch" by Frank DeVol and Sherwood Schwartz)
-
- Here's the story of a lovely lady
- Who was bringing up three very
lovely girls.
- All of them had hair of gold, like
their mother,
- The youngest one in curls.
-
- Here's the store, of a man named
Brady,
- Who was busy with three boys of his
own,
- They were four men, living all
together,
- Yet they were all alone.
-
- Till the one day when the lady met
this fellow
- And they knew it was much more than
a hunch,
- That this group would somehow form a
family.
- That's the way we all became the
Brady Bunch.
- The Brady Bunch,
-
- That's the way we all became the
Brady Bunch.
- The Brady Bunch.
