Jonny Quest- Theme Song
While not widely known, "Jonny Quest" began life as a
primetime cartoon before moving to Saturday mornings where it ran for many
years. The show has been on all three major networks at one time or another.
The draw of this series was in the realism, characterizations, and great
writing.. Young Jonny Quest aged 11, traveled the world to exotic locations
and encountered fantastic adventures with his father Dr. Benton Quest.
Traveling with them was Roger "Race" Bannon, Benton’s tough-as-nails
bodyguard with a military background. Jonny’s best friend Hadji, a young man
from India, and their mischievous yapping mascot Bandit rounded out the
group. With Benton Quest’s genius, Race Bannon’s physical prowess, and young
Jonny and Hadji’s curiosity, the group had to overcome mummies, aliens,
invisible creatures, and mad scientists. |
